Ron Blevins has been around general aviation since childhood. As a boy, his father owned a Cherokee 235. The "aviation bug" hit aggressively in his teenage years. Ron has been reading and studying general aviation since the mid-70's. Currently, Ron has over 1000 hours flying time in a variety of piston-powered aircraft. Ratings include: Commercial, Multi, Instrument, CFI, CFII. He has owned three aircraft for personal use. Ron has flight time in all major types of single-engine aircraft to include: Cessna, Piper, Mooney, and Beech products. Outside of assisting others with the buying and selling of aircraft, Ron specializes in instrument flight training and weekend mountain checkouts in the southern Rockies of New Mexico and Colorado. Ron was recently certified as an FAA safety counselor. This qualifies Ron to teach as part of the FAA WINGS program (AC 61-91 and FAR 61.56).
