IN HIS PRESENCE -- Favorite hymn and classical chorses arranged in unique and various styles. 

Background:  First released in 1991, this was the first

collection of hymns released.  It features hymn

arrangements, several classic choruses, and one movie

theme.  The cover photograph was made in the Spring of

1985 near Benbrook, Texas.  This 30-second timed

exposure was made using a Leica R4s camera and

a 90mm lens.

IN HIS PRESENCE -- Most of these arrangements were created during a period following the comletion of my doctoral studies.  It is my hope they will enhance your personal worship.  May they draw you closer to His presence.  Psalm 89:15.

Note:  Titles for hymns use the actual "tune name" rather than the name of the hymn.  In hymnody, there are separate titles for text and tune.  In the old traditions, various texts and tunes could be interchanged to allow for variety.  The unusual titles you see are the actual "tune names."  However, for recognition purposes, the customary "text name" is also included in each title.
